Socom 4 Finally Gets Release Date.

After being pushed back and fourth for a couple years now, PS3's most anticipated 3rd person tactical shooter finally gets a release date!!!  yep, Socom 4 will be hitting stores this coming April 19th.  However, those of you that will be getting Killzone 3 next week will have  early access to Socom's online beta.  Socom is one of the first shooters that will be compatible with the Playstation Move. Zipper Interactive is bringing back a single player campaign mode  that they didn't have in Socom Confrontation.  So wether you are an online gamer, you like to play a story mode, or simply you like both, make sure to check out Socom 4 this April.

Here's what IGN had to say about Socom 4, 

"The defining tactical shooting game franchise continues with SOCOM 4, created by the original design team at Zipper Interactive. A totally overhauled single-player mission structure will put players on the battlefield with more control than ever before, while the 32-player online combat scenarios will test every gamer's fortitude in battle. The game also allows the use of the PlayStation Arc for precise aiming via the motion controller accessory."
