WeAllBall.com Pre-Season All-Americans

The College basketball season is here and the prolific players are ready to show off their skills. This is a good time for me to show off mine too. A prediction is only a prediction but I got a sixth sense so these are the players you have to look out for, ready?

1st Team WeAllBall.com Pre-season All-Americans

G: Sharron Collins Sr. Kansas

Stats 08-09: 18 ppg., 5 apg.,

Analysis: No it doesn't have to do with the fact that I'm a Chicago native. Sharron is a part of the new breed of lighting fast point guards that score can get to the basket and score or dump it off to the open man. Other PG in this category include Ty Lawson, Brandon Jennings, and Aaron Brooks.

G: John Wall Fr. Kentucky

Analysis: Weren't Derrick Rose and Tyreke Evans freshman PG's coached by John Calipari? That's right expect the same type of play from John Wall. He was the number one recruit according to rivals.com.

F: Al-Farouq Aminu Soph. Wake Forest

Stats 08-09: 12.9 ppg., 8.2 rpg.

Analysis: So last season he was Wake Forest's third go to guy behind now NBA players James Johnson and Jeff Teague, now he is #1. Expect big numbers on a solid Wake Forest squad that begins the season unranked.

F: Luke Harangody, SR. Notre Dame

Stats 08-09: 23.3 ppg., 11.8 rpg.

Analysis: I'm pretty sure this guy was on everybody's Pre-Season All-American Team. He was the only player last year to be top ten in scoring and rebounding.

C: Cole Aldrich, Jr. Kansas

Stats 08-09: 14.9 ppg., 11.1 rpg., 2.7 bpg.

Analysis: Aldrich joins Collins on the first team because of his blocking ability and nice touch around the basket.

2nd Team WeAllBall.com Pre-season All-Americans

G: Kalin Lucas, Jr. Michigan State. Stats: 14.7 ppg. 4.6 apg.

G: Willie Warren, Soph. Oklahoma. Stats: 14.6 ppg. 3.1 apg.

F: Kyle Singler, Jr. Duke. Stats: 16.5 ppg. 7.7 rpg.

F: Patrick Patterson, Jr. Kentucky 17.9 ppg. 9.3 rpg.

C: Greg Monroe, Soph, Georgetown. Stats: 12.7 ppg. 6.5 rpg. 1.8 spg. 1.5 bpg

3rd Team WeAllBall.com Pre-season All-Americans

G: Devan Downey, Sr. South Carolina

G: Manny Harris, Jr. Michigan

F: Gordon Hayward, Soph. Butler

F: Derrick Favors, Fr. Georgia Tech

C: Ed Davis, Soph. North Carolina
